well here are the pics shes bare naked just how i like my women!!!! the gas tank i picked up from sgary if it wasnt for him i would have never known about this site thanks a ton!!! the fender is HD picked up for a sweet deal about 100 bucks, guy told me at the dealership they go for 500 smackers. Fucken expensive  so i was pretty happy with the fender. I picked up a few other things that i wanna put on my bike, i got this sweet bottle cap opener from this antique store that i plan in using for my bike. and also got new headlight mounts aswell. One thing that gr8paradox reminded me about was the headlight i completely forgot i gotta stick all that crap in a headlight so i gotta find the right one!!! as for the wiring i will stick with stock. i also plan on moding my stoplight its WAY TO BIG so few tweeks here and there well see how it turns out if it goes to hell then i'll buy a smaller one. So over all its going ok but i want to keep the cost down the most expensive part will be the frame mods for sure after all i dont have the tools to do it myself. Paint wont be a problem because when your poor like me good old kraylon spray paint does the job !!!! :D

Looks like the headlight bucket you got right now will work. Lots of the electric stuff you can use off the shelf stuff. The starter relay you can use a ford solenoid. The main fuse strip you can replace with a mini plug in type or even a breaker. It's not hard to adapt as needed. I would get a copy of the wiring by way of the free downloads in the vault section. Hell, Get the whole manual. Check all the connectors. The battery cables and all the other wiring connections should all be clean and tight. You won't believe how many faults will just go away if you clean and shine up the connections. Here is a link to a wiring diagram on line. http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/Di ... F_dohc.jpg The main page at oregon motorcycle parts dot com has trouble shooting info for your charging system and replacement connections if you need them. The charging system on those early DOHC's is the weak link. A bad battery can end up taking out the system so keep an eye on it. What kind of frame mods did you plan on ?

Hey brass33 your bike is looking good. Were a family of misfits who look after each other. What else do you need? KMS hotrod dept. has lots of repro tail lights.I got mine for $25. Maybe we'll run into each other at the swap in April. Call me of you need help. PM me if you need the number. It's better to replace the wiring, 30 year old wires cause problems.
If it ain't broke,,,, I can't afford it! http://picasaweb.google.com/sgarykessle ... mahaBuild#

well its been awhile so heres the run down i finally found someone to change up my frame for me! so basically im keeping it as a softtail, but remounting the rear shocks also single backbone for the sporty gas tank that i have. so thats pretty much it when it comes to the bones as for the other stuff i've been getting all sorts of parts. i'll be posting up pictures of the new items that i got well there all actually used parts. The only thing left is tach/speedo, handle bars, and well i cant think of anything else at the moment. Anyways i'll post pics up later today !!! peace out :D

well i got sidetrack but i got them pics of some more parts .its going slow but you cant rush perfection ;) so most of these parts are from a swap meet and good old craigslist all used except for the turn signals .the coca cola bottle opener came from an antique store wasnt cheap though cost me lik 60 bucks the owner wouldnt settle for less but o well i say it was worth it its a rare piece you might never see around i plan on using it for mounting my liecense plate. the shocks are H-D and so are the wheels WHICH I LOVE i still cant believe i scored those rims took forever to get them back to my place, 2 hours on bus along with a sea bus ride over to north vancouver it was well worth it. and as for the tear drop tool box thats H-D iunno what year its from. the guy told me but i didnt really hear what he said. headlight from CL i dont know much about it i believe its a unity head light i'll have to double check the lightbulb is done so i gotta get a new one anyone know were i can get one?? and the pegs were also from the swap meet overall im pretty happy with the parts i've gotten
