I havent started putting the new tubes in yet but I did start by lining up the rear axle plates. I tacked a piece of 1/4 to the inside of the stock swingarm so that my new axle plates keep the same inner distance.

Looks good. I like the flow. Did TC bros give you slugs with the pre bent tubes ? Did you have to make your own ?

I didnt use the slugs as the frame has the bends down at the bottom. Its not like the XS650 frames which by design are easy to use with the slugs. Im going to be making some gussets for the connections instead.

Welded some gussets on the lower bars and notched my crossbars, Im going to wait till my seat comes in before I weld those in.

Im going to be running a '98 CR125 36mm PJ Keihin. I chose that based on some recomendations from some other KZ400 guys who run one.

I ordered the Pirelli MT43 tires and a set of tubes today. They are scheduled to arrive next week, my tank should be here tomorrow.
